The School of Art is happy to recognize M.F.A. alumni Violet Maimbourg in the scheduled opening of her first solo exhibition, "Our Love Remains." 🎟️ ✨
Maimbourg was recently highlighted in an article by CAN Journal for her unique, carnival-themed body of work presented during Kent State's M.F.A. Thesis Exhibition. After successfully defending her thesis, her work acts as a preview of what's to come as she prepares for her upcoming solo exhibition, open from August - September at Waterloo Arts.

This exhibition brings together the fresh perspectives and rigorous studio practices of first-year MFA graduate students from: Carnegie Mellon University and Kent State University.
Both/And serves as a bridge between the creative communities of Pittsburgh and Kent, highlighting the diverse research and experimental media emerging from these cohorts.
