Our periodic table cupcake event a few weeks ago was a success! Thank you to everyone who participated in our fundraiser!

Thanks to everyone who came and joined us for dinner last Thursday! We had an amazing time! :)

This is a reminder that tomorrow, March 18th, we are selling periodic table cupcakes for $2 a piece in the main lobby of Williams Hall. This will take place from 12-5pm. The funds raised will be donated to local high school grant programs! Be sure to stop by and pick your favorite element in cupcake form!

Thanks to everyone who came to our slime event last week!! We had so much fun and hope you did too! :)

Join us this Thursday, March 10th at 5:30pm in WMH 111 and make your own slime! We will also be making non-newtonian fluid. We hope to see you all there!

A big thank you to Dr. Thorsten Schmidt, Dr. Diana Schmidt, Dr. Mighon, and Dr. Abey for presenting their research to our group last Thursday!

Some of our e-board and group members at the student organization fair! We were able to talk to students who were interested in joining our group!

We are partnering up with the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and the Students for Environmental Change (SEC) groups for a field trip up to the Great Lakes Science Center!! We will be going on Saturday, March 5th and will be meeting in the c-main parking lot to carpool! If you want a free ticket to the event through SAACS, come to the next two SAACS meetings before March 5th and we will pay for your ticket. If you do not want to come to the next two meetings but still want to join us, your ticket will not be covered and will be $16.95 per person. We might grab some food after the science center but this will not be covered, so please plan accordingly. If you are interested in this event please sign up using the QR code. At our last meeting, some of our members came up with some really clever words for the periodic table word challenge! Here’s a few examples. Enjoy!!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another great semester. Here is a little update on what SAACS will be doing this semester. We are changing it up a little bit. Meetings will now be WEEKLY on THURSDAYS at 5:30pm in WMH 111. If there are any changes, we will let you know. With that being said, our first meeting of the semester will be TOMORROW, January 27th at 5:30pm in WMH 111. We have a lot of fun stuff coming up this semester and we hope to see you all there!

Please join us this Thursday, December 9th in Williams hall 111, for a finals study celebration! There will be pizza, ice cream, macaroons, and refreshments. We hope to see you all there!

Join us next Thursday, November 18th at 6pm and have a thanksgiving dinner with us! Please RSVP if you are interested. We hope to see you there!
