Big news! Biological Sciences faculty member, David Costello, Ph.D., has been selected for a U.S. Department of Energy Genesis Mission award. His submission being one of just 278 projects chosen from over 5,000 applicants nationwide. His team will use AI to mine 50 years of water-quality data, searching for signs of critical minerals like copper, cobalt and manganese. It's one of only four Ohio-led projects in the program.
