The Student Voice Team's purpose is to advocate for the diversity and inclusion of students and act as ambassadors for the School of JMC

The Student Voice Team is the student advisory board for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. We communicate the climate of the school to faculty and Directer Wasbotten. Our mission is to create a sense of community in JMC. We work to give students from all religions, cultures, races and social statuses a chance to interact and grow outside of the classroom

Recap:

We built the first part of the Wall of Oppression! And Amanda took the construction paper to get cut at Office Max, so all of the bricks are already cut.

We still need to make the other side of the wall, but Amanda assured me that she and her assistant would let me know if they needed help finishing it. So all in all, we're in pretty good shape!

Sign up for a shift with the Wall of Oppression HERE!!!

We still need a few people to man the SVT table at Diversi-palooza on Thursday, April 27 from 11:30 to 2:30. Email me if you're interested!
