Brooklyn shared her experience in the wedding industry and gave students a look into what goes into planning, coordinating, and creating Styled Shoots. Let’s not forget the amazing “Falling For You” shoot she helped our students create last year!🍁

Students in the Weddings and Special Event Protocol class had the opportunity to hear from the owner and management team at The Elliot, a wedding and event venue located in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood!

The Elliot blends historic architecture with modern event design and offers spaces for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, and other special events. Their team shared more about the venue, the event industry, and what goes into creating memorable experiences for couples and their guests. We loved getting to learn more about such a unique Cleveland venue! 🤍

Amber shared her experience in the wedding industry and how Epic Elopements helps couples create meaningful, stress free wedding experiences throughout Northeast Ohio. We loved getting an inside look at the elopement side of the industry and learning from a local event professional! 🤍💍

Spend the summer in New York…yes please! Here’s what our student Bailey Chapman had to say about her experience at Beach Point Club.
At Beach Point Club in Mamaroneck, NY I have spent the summer as the Family Activities Management Intern! I’ve had such an exciting experience working closely with the Beach Point Day Camp and with Club Events on both large and small scales. Alongside the management team and other interns, I have had the pleasure of learning about the club industry and what it takes to run such a successful club. My favorite part of working here this summer has been the connections I have made with both the staff and the members. I work closely with kids and I love interacting with parents and children daily and getting to make their summer experience amazing. Beyond grateful for this experience and I’ll take everything I’ve learned with me no matter where my career takes me!

As a Guest Services Administrator Senior at PNC Bank working with corporate meetings and events, molly koerbel has gained a passion for delivering exceptional client and guest experiences while building meaningful relationships. This role has strengthened her professionalism, problem solving, and communication skills. The Guest Services team that she works alongside is so supportive of each other and she can’t wait for the future! We’re so proud of her!

Our student Ada has had an incredible summer interning at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. This is what she has to say about her experience: I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spend the past three months interning at Ocean Reef Club, the second ranked private club in the country.
Through ORC University, I attended classes focused on leadership, hospitality, communication, and career growth. Beyond the classroom, I was able to take part in experiences like cooking classes and snorkeling trips, all organized and funded by the club.

One thing that surprised me the most was how invested the members were in my experience. So many of them took the time to get to know me, ask about my career goals, share advice, and encourage me throughout my internship.

Looking back, I am leaving Ocean Reef with so much more than hospitality experience. I am leaving with greater confidence, lasting relationships, and a deeper appreciation for what true hospitality looks like.
