Unlocking “immense creative potential” ⚡️
As a Design Innovation Faculty Fellow this semester, Associate Professor David Foster is exploring artificial intelligence and its impact on creativity and learning. On April 15, he’ll lead the workshop with Kent State Design Innovation “Hack Your Homework: Explore AI For Productivity” to provide skills and takeaways on how to use AI tools ethically when studying for finals.

"Involuntary," the latest film by Assistant Professor Dana White and Instructor Christopher Knoblock, explores moral responsibility through the lens of our treatment of older adults.
It recently screened at Justice Film Festival in NYC and the DC Independent Film Festival in Washington, D.C.

Going “bananas” for fan engagement: Kent State University student Anthony Scilla, ’25, has been fascinated by the Savannah Bananas and their innovative style of baseball entertainment for several years 💛 ⚾️ This spring, he’s joined the organization as a fan services intern. The public relations major says: “It’s fun, it’s entertaining and it’s a blast to work with. They took the game of baseball and made it fun again.”
Scilla’s internship focuses on enhancing the fan experience of the team’s official fan group, the K Club. He monitors and engages with fans on the club’s email inbox and Facebook group, providing personalized responses with playful banana-themed puns.
