Stars of Abraham Christian Learning Center is a faith based childcare center that has been servicing Kent, Washington since 2016. We are a small center dedicated to raising a child with compassion , love and kindness, just as Jesus taught us to do in the Bible. We are dedicated to keep our ratios small so that our intimate class sizes can cater to a variety of child with different needs. We would love to have you as a part of our center!
Meet Our Staff:
Miss Linda- Owner and Director
Miss Linda has been working in the early childhood field since 1988 . She is Kind, Charismatic, and dedicated to helping children develop the tools they need to become successful not only at the center but in life as a whole. She is also working on her Ordination to become a Children’s Pastor through the Church of the Nazarene at NNU. In her free time she loves singing, watching movies, going on walks and spending time with friends and family.
Miss Kim- Assistant Director
Miss Kim has been working in the early childhood field since 2006. She is animated, joyful and passionate when she works with children. She loves to find the child’s interest and help them explore the world through that interest. She Has an Associates in Early Childhood Education through Bellevue College as well as trainings in Conscious Discipline, Occupational Therapy and Music and Art therapy. In her free time she likes to sing Karaoke , run, watch hockey, and spend time with her family.
Miss Cristal- Program Supervisor and Toddler Teacher
Miss Cristal has been working in the early childhood field since 2014. She is Considerate , understanding and detail oriented which makes her a perfect fit for the young toddlers. She has an Associates Degree in Human Services. She hopes one day to travel the world to experience and explore different cultures. In her free time she loves to go hiking and watch documentaries about Ancient Greece.
Miss Tricia- Infant Teacher
Miss Tricia has been working in the early childhood field since 1994. She is a Fun-loving , gentle and caring teacher who uses those strengths exquisitely to help each infant feel safe and loved. She has a CDA degree specifically working with infants and toddlers. In her free time she enjoys going to the movies, crafting and going out to eat.
Miss Caitlyn-Toddler Teacher
Miss Caitlyn has been working with children in different capacities for as long as she can remember. This is her first lead teaching role. She is a artistic , empathetic and kind teacher who uses her artsy side to help children explore their creativity in many different ways in the classroom. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family , cooking, crafting, singing and painting.
Miss Nandani- Preschool Teacher
Ms. Nandani is from Fiji and has been working in the field since 2009. She has a BA in education from New Zealand and taught there before moving to Washington. She is a charismatic , energetic and a true team player in her classroom. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and getting together with her friends.
Miss Gerry- Head Cook and Support Staff
Miss Gerry has been working and volunteering with children in varying age groups for the past few years, she has mostly worked as a reading mentor and math mentor with elementary and junior high students. she is a Funny, expressive and genuine person who shows her love through cooking healthy balanced meals for the whole center. In her free time she loves getting in the car and going on road trips and spending time with her husband and her son.
Miss Esmeralda-College Volunteer
Miss Esmeralda is going to college to obtain her Associates in Early Childhood Education. She has been volunteering mostly in the Toddler 1 room with Miss. Cristal. In her free time she love to take care of her animals, she has both chickens and bunnies. We love having her here with us and look forward to watching her grow and develop her teaching skills.
