This job entails working at the front desk at Kent Hillel to welcome every student, staff, and community member who walks into our building with open arms! We are so excited to announce a new staff member in our community!

Ben is serving as the new Director of Jewish Growth & Learning at Hillel at Kent State, where he is excited to help students explore their Jewish identity, build meaningful relationships, and create a vibrant Jewish community on campus. Originally from New York, Ben graduated from Yeshiva University with a degree in Political Science and spent two years studying in Jerusalem. Before joining Kent Hillel, he worked extensively in Jewish education and teen engagement, mentoring young people and developing innovative Jewish programming throughout the Cleveland community.

Ben’s favorite Jewish holiday is Purim, and his favorite Jewish food is overnight potato kugel. When he isn’t at Hillel, Ben is likely spending time with his family, watching basketball, or enjoying a good cup of coffee with friends.
