Twos class set up an obstacle course in the movement matters zone - finding new and fun ways to move builds on our coordination and understanding of how we can safely explore the world around us.

They pick and choose different points in which to start, where they would like to start and what parts of the obstacle course, they would like to pick out for their friends to try.

Door Decorations 2022❄️

Holidays are great opportunity to teach children how to be grateful. Children at the Bright Horizons / Seay Child Care Center expressed what they are thankful for by decorating and writing on maple leaves, and then got to hang them on the gratitude tree.

Bright Horizons at Parkway North had their special guests, dental hygienists Chrissy and McKenzie, who taught the Preschool and K-Prep children about teeth brushing, flossing, and healthy food choices! 🦷

Jim Greenman Early Education Innovation Center were able to donate food and essential needs to the Newton Food Pantry with the support of our center community.

Thank you to our wonderful families and educators for supporting our annual food drive!

The challenge was on 💛 The classrooms at Bright Horizons Family Center at Del Mar filled two bins with non-perishable food and donated a total of 17 bins for the San Diego Food Bank.

After reading the story, Gus’s Garage, the children visited the center's Innovation Studio and used a variety of loose parts to create their own forms of transportation. After completing their own vehicle, they got to test it out! Does it move? Can it hold things? All questions the children were able to then discover and find out!

After reading "Jump!" by Tatsuhide Matsuoka, the class talked about onomatopoeias and then drew pictures of what some of the words they heard would look like - SPLASH, WHAM, BOOM!

Sprouts Academy Preschool

The first snowfall was the best! Children at Bright Horizons at Ecolab Early Education and Preschool pulled out the shovels, made snow angels, tried to build a snowman, and the excitement continued in the classroom as they constructed snow homes for the animals! ❄️

Our infant class at Bright Horizons at Watertown Plank explored sensory materials. They used toy flashlights to explore light and dark, along with cause and effect, and explored crinoline by working on their large and fine motor skills to grab on and feel the fabric.
