The OSMA board is pleased to share that Lucy Baker has been selected as an Honorable Mention for this year's Ohio Student Journalist of the Year scholarship competition. Lucy is a member of the Arlingtonian news staff at Upper Arlington High School. Congratulations to Lucy and to her adviser, Robin Mollica!

Winners and honorable mention recipients will be honored at this year's OSMA state convention, happening April 24-25 at Kent State University.

The Georgia Stilwell Dunn Ohio Student Journalist of the Year competition is open to graduating student journalists in Ohio whose high schools are members of OSMA. As part of the submission process, candidates create and submit a comprehensive portfolio of their high school journalism experience, which is then judged based on the Journalism Education Association's JOY rubric by a panel of judges.
