Excited for our Traveling Stanzas exhibit to be at Lakewood Public Library all of March and April!
Here's a peek at Traveling Stanzas, now open through April 30 in the Main Library Second Floor Gallery. We are proud to partner with Wick Poetry Center to bring Traveling Stanzas to Lakewood. This interactive exhibit features creative writing tools, and celebrates the unique experiences of immigrants in our community.

Traveling Stanzas began as a collaboration between the Wick Poetry Center and Kent State University School of Visual Communication Design's Valora Renicker (associate professor). Ten years, later, it is a leading international poetry exhibit pioneering state-of-the-art digital tools.
Join us the next five weeks for Celebrating 10 Years of Traveling Stanzas Exhibit. The opening reception will feature remarks and a poetry reading this Thursday, Jan. 24 in Taylor Hall.

A couple moments from last night as part of “As One” Community Day. The Chautauqua Opera Company is presenting the “As One” chamber opera on Tuesday, Aug. 7. Visitors explored the role of arts and global understanding in relation to poetry at our Traveling Stanzas Makerspace.

Roe Green, a Kent State University alumna and arts patron, visited the Chautauqua Makerspace today and learned about the evolution of Traveling Stanzas. The university’s Roe Green Center for the School of Theatre and Dance is named after her. Thanks for stopping in to see our work!
