📚 Can you believe it’s almost time for a new school year?

The first day of school is always a big milestone—whether it’s your child’s first day of kindergarten, another year of learning, or the start of a new adventure as a teacher!

We’ve put together free printable First Day of School signs for students, parents, and teachers to help you capture that special moment. ❤️🖤

✨ Making your first-day sign is easy:

1️⃣ Choose the grade-specific sign
2️⃣ Print it at home on 8.5x11 paper or cardstock.
3️⃣ Take a picture and save the memory!

It’s almost time for school! Here are some important dates to add to your calendar 📅

August 14 - Class lists posted on the doors of Longcoy after 3 pm
August 17 - Supply Night, 5:30-6:30 pm (school supply list can be found here)
August 19 - First day of school for 1st-5th grade students

The next rough riders read event is on June 30th from 5:00-6:30 at Davey Elementary due to extreme heat! Stay cool everyone!

The Ravenna Center of Hope school supply registration is now open. Register Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. See the flyer for details.

The 2026 Summer Lunch Program begins this month!

This program is serving FREE lunches to children ages 1-18. Lunches must be eaten on-site at the site listed in the flyer. See more details on the flyer!

Ravenna sites begin serving today, and Kent/Brimfield sites will start serving next week, on June 8th.
