Is Jackson Vogel America's Next Top Hitmaker? Jackson Vogel could appear in Rolling Stone, win $10,000, and perform at Rolling Stone's Future of Music Showcase.

After waiting more than two years for his forever home (part of that spent in a WA State Shelter at just a year old), we are preparing for Tyson to TRULY be home for the holidays! If you missed his story, we will share the link in the comments--but in a nutshell, he was loved and adored by wonderful foster parents at Lucky Paws Rescue for over a year when they unfortunately had to move across the country (Boston, MA) earlier this year due to their job. We were unable to find the right home for him then and although he's been in a loving foster home with great people since they left, the siutation is less than ideal due to other dogs who need to be kept separate and rotated. Tyson declined, resorting back to his anxiety and insecurities that had been present when we first saw him out of the shelter. We've tried desperately to find the perfect match for him, with no luck.

After being able to find a home with a yard to purchase in Boston, MA, Tyson's foster parents reached out to us and said they are ready to welcome Tyson back into their home...but this time is FOREVER! After much research, we have decided that based on Tyson's needs, the best way to get him there is by road travel, not on an airline (although we appreciate the many offers we received!) He's also banned from traveling on many airlines due to his breed (this actually had more to do with the snouts of specific breeds-- breathing concerns in cargo--than the actual breed)

AND...we are also thrilled that one of our own, a Lucky Paws Rescue adopter (and foster, volunteer) has offered to drive Tyson across the country to his family. She and her daughter will be renting a vehicle for this, and then flying home. This puts our minds at ease, as Tyson could not be in better hands! We had considered a pet transportation service, which was also a significant cost, but we feel so much better knowing he will be in the BEST HANDS he could be in for his trip!

This will not be cheap by any means, but he is worth every penny. There may be incliment weather along the way requiring a change of vehicles, hotel rooms, etc. If you can or would like to donate to Tyson's travels, any amount will help greatly. If you cannot donate, we understand and would be so appreciative if you can share!

Thank you to EVERYONE who has cared so much about our boy, Tyson!! He is more than deserving of a loving home & happy life and we are THRILLED to have him returning to his favorite people!
