How many times have you had a bride add “last minute” cake flowers? ✋✋

Those aren’t free 😉 Here’s a tip - have a tiered pricing structure already in place. Here’s what I do for last minute requests:

Cake toppers are $15 per inch (so if it’s a 6” cake and I want to cover 4” of it, it’s 4 x $15 = $60 for the topper). That helps me account for any mechanics I need as well.

Accent pieces are roughly the size of a boutonniere so I know I can do $25-$30 each on those depending on the flowers used.

Prioritize your product by pulling flowers from the most
important (or most closely photographed and seen by
guests) to the least ….

1. Bouquets
2. “Close up” blooms like the groom’s boutonniere or
cake flowers
3. Centerpiece recipes
4. Flowers that will be seen at a distance like
altar/arch/floor pieces.

🌟 As you pull recipes for bouquets and larger scale
designs, save anything useable you’ve “stripped” - ie if
you’re cleaning up greenery for bouquets, the smaller
laterals go into a container saved for
bouts/corsages/flower girl
