This summer, Emma S. ’27 explored two sides of the medical field through experiences at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Young Scholars Summer Program in Biostatistics and Clinical Research at the Yale School of Public Health. From observing surgeries to analyzing clinical trial data, Emma gained firsthand insight into both patient care and medical research.

Meet Senior Council members Ava G. and Dylan M., two of this year’s Dorm Prefects! 👏 Ava will serve in Case Dorm, and Dylan in North Dorm.

As part of Kent’s Community Learning program, Bridges is a year-long course for Fourth Form students that builds on the principles introduced during their Third Form year. The course helps students deepen their understanding of community, well-being, and personal responsibility.

This spring, one way students put those lessons into practice was through a six-week interview project with members of the Kent community, including students, employees and alumni. They developed open-ended questions, learned how to create a comfortable interview environment and created final projects that represented their subjects responsibly and authentically.
