In his final season of high school baseball, Wagner hit .487 (39 for 80) with 22 extra-base hits (10 doubles, 3 triples, 9 home runs) and earned First Team All-Country honors in New Jersey.

And now heโ€™s headed to ODU Baseball in the fall ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Your high school stats alone wonโ€™t get you recruited.

The gap between high school and D1 baseball is HUGE. HS upperclassmen max out around 97 mph exit velo. D1 average is 109. Most high school fastballs donโ€™t come close to the D1 average of 90 mph.

Closing that gap takes more than reps in the cage. It takes strength training paired with a targeted hitting program, built together, not separately.

Cut from the high school team. Came back and made it.

Kez Ashaba hadnโ€™t played much organized baseball since little league, and getting cut only made him work harder.

He joined Driveline Academy, put in the work, and this year, he proved his coaches wrong and made his high school team.
