Hunting season is just around the corner! Falconers for months have already been planning and getting ready for Fall/Winter hunting with their birds. Dodge the Red Tailed Hawk is about done with the molt! First bird that will be ready for hunting this year. After pulled, a little manning (reacquaintance of each other), coping (falconry beak trim), and some new gear. Off to the races.

We have had the pleasure of hunting with Dodge for 15 years now! A reliable and great hunting companion. Always love a Red Tailed Hawk dive! Bird held under appropriate falconry state permit.

Stop by this Friday July 31st at 12PM till 1pm at the Pike Place Market (first & pike) and hang out with us! We’re just meeting people, chatting all about birds, falconry, and Seattle! A great chance to see some live raptors, enjoy the market, and visit all of the merchants downtown!

Get an up-close look at some of nature’s most fascinating birds at First & Pike Plaza. In partnership with The Downtown Association of Seattle, this free lunchtime series offers the chance to meet majestic falcons, hawks and other raptors up close. Stop by the last Friday of each month through August from noon-1 p.m.
