AmeriGo-DC English Summer Program AmeriGo-DC is a program for high school (15 yrs+) and college students to improve their English, live in a host family and have a cultural experience.

AmeriGo-DC e’ una proposta per i ragazzi delle superiori ( dai 15 anni in su) e dell’univerisita’ per imparare la lingua inglese abitando in famiglia e facendo una esperienza culturale e ricreativa. Abbiamo deciso di proporre un Full Day Program perche’ dalla nostra esperinza di ospitalita’ riteniamo necessario offrire una giornata completa e guidata perche’ i ragazzi non perdano tempo e si co

involgano nella scuola, nelle attivita’ culturali e nella vita famigliare. La giornata con AmeriGo-DC. Gli studenti vanno e tornano dalla scuola con i mezzi pubblici. La scuola incomincia alle 9:30am e finisce alle 2:00pm. Il pranzo avviene nella scuola con pranzo al sacco fornito dalle famiglie. La zona di Bethesda e’ ricca di ristoranti e fast food come alternativa al pranzo al sacco. I nostri amici univeritari accompagnano i ragazzi nelle escursioni al pomeriggio. Prevediamo tre pomeriggi alla settimana e uno libero, mentre il Venerdi’ la scuola organizza una gita scolastica. Il rientro avviene intorno alle 6:00pm. Le serate e i weekends si svolgono in accordo con la famiglia. Iscriviti prima del 28 Febbraio per ottenere uno sconto di $150. Le iscrizioni chiudono il 30 Aprile 2015

Città della Pieve holds great significance for me because at The Saffron House, I encountered a young man from this small village. After studying abroad, he expressed his desire to return and carry on the tradition of saffron cultivation. He encourages his peers to join him in this endeavor. While many villages in Italy are left behind, there is a young man who takes the risk to continue the traditional family trade and implements innovation and marketing skills to it.

In January 2024, I will be leading a pilgrimage to Rome, and I am inviting you to join me! January is an excellent time to visit Rome. During the summer, Rome can be brutally hot and filled with tourists. We will be able to visit the sights with fewer crowds and experience the real feel and flavor of Rome by having a full week in the Eternal City.

We are limiting the group to only 15 pilgrims!
