Kensington Nursery School

Founded in 1939, Kensington Nursery School is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for preschool children and their families.

We accept each child as a person, encouraging individual strengths and fostering a positive self-image. A member of the Kensington community for more than 75 years, Kensington Nursery School has been a major part of the lives of over 1200 families. Come on by and see what the KNS Community is all about!!! We will be hanging out crafting together outside, and want to invite YOU to see our space, ask us questions, and relax with us for the morning. We still have space in our 3s class (MWF) and 4s class (M-F) from 9am-1pm (with the option to extend until 2:30). So if you’re still looking for your perfect preschool fit, we might just be the one!

What a special treat for the little learners at KNS this Wednesday! 🚒🚑

The Kensington Fire Station stopped by with a fire truck and an ambulance, and the kids had the best time exploring, learning, and meeting the amazing first responders in our community. So many smiles, excitement, and unforgettable moments!

Thank you to the firefighters and EMTs for making it such a fun and memorable day for everyone at KNS ❤️

Happy Earth Day 🌎💚

Today, our KNS kids rolled up their sleeves and showed what it means to care for our community! From picking up trash to taking pride in our local park, these little leaders reminded us that every small action makes a big difference.

It’s more than just a cleanup—it’s about teaching responsibility, teamwork, and love for the world around us.

So proud of these amazing kids for leading by example and making our Earth a little brighter today ✨
