I’ve done over 200 dog portrait commissions, a handful of cats, and one cockatiel, but this is my first horse. I’m pleased with how it turned out. What do you think? Should I try to do more?

It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that our beloved Katie Richards passed away suddenly only days ago. Katie was a tremendous artist, great friend, and fierce advocate for the environment and social justice. She was a MAP graduate (class of 2020) and was well-known in the painting and colored pencil art worlds. Her indomitable spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew her. 💔
