GIGS A creative community in Kensington forged through music education and live events. www.gigsstudio.com

In creating GIGS, owner Sean Gaiser set out to create an environment that best allowed him to do what he likes most: create music and invite others to join in on the fun. Kids who come to GIGS learn to play music that they really like from teachers who have committed their professional lives to their passions - writing original music, playing live concerts, recording studio albums, and spreading the gift of music with others. GIGS prides itself on the bonds that are formed between our teachers and students. If you are looking for a music program that pays particular attention to making kids feel right at home, GIGS is the place for you!

This past spring, GIGS partnered up with San Miguel School to lead their student band. GIGS staff led rehearsals twice a week, working with band members to hone their skills both individually and as a cohesive unit. The guys worked hard all semester as they geared up for their performance at the Annual Scholarship Benefit (which they knocked out of the park!). We are so proud of all that they accomplished last year and can’t wait for another great year ahead!

Meet Olavi! He is our resident expert on all things piano 🎹 While the piano is his “home” instrument, over the years, Olavi has also picked up ukulele, vocals, drums, guitar, and bass! A jack of all trades, so to speak…

Come work with Olavi and our other multi-talented teachers! Apply to teach at GIGS at the link in bio.
