“It is important that children hear God’s message at an early age. I hope that I play a small role in that,” says Nancy, who is a mother of 4 and grandmother of 3. She works as the Science Lab technician at Berlin High School.

Krista is also a mother of 4 and works as a compliance officer for a local investment firm. “I began teaching when my oldest son entered first grade, hoping to take a more active role in passing on my faith to our children,” she says. “Teaching has been such a blessing—not only do I get to share my faith, but I also continue to grow in it, by taking time out to focus on our faith and learning something new all the time.”

We said “Gracias” to all of our catechists and other volunteers by treating them to Spot on Tacos on the Parish green. We also played Bible Family Feud. As you might guess, this group knows their stuff!

We are looking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant for the Religious Education Office who can work 24 hours per week. This person assists the Director of Religious Education and is responsible for providing secretarial and other related services.

Candidates must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, database systems and Google applications. Strong organizational skills, a high level of productivity and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others are also required.
