📚❤️ Grandparents’ Reading Morning! ❤️📚

Hello, families!

We would love to welcome your wonderful grandparents to Bright Beginnings Academy on September 11th from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM for a special morning of reading with the children! 🥰

Grandparents will have the opportunity to spend 15 special minutes reading with their grandchild and their classmates. Sign-up sheets will be located outside of each classroom. Please choose the 15-minute time slot that works best for you.

📖 You are welcome to bring your own favorite children’s book, or the center will have books available for you to choose from.

We hope you’ll join us for this special time of creating memories, sharing stories, and celebrating the wonderful grandparents in our children’s lives! ❤️

Join us for a fun-filled evening of decorated cars, LOTS of candy, Pumpkin painting, Cookie decorating, Halloween fun, and plenty of spooky surprises! 🎃🍭

We’re expecting lots of little ghosts, witches, superheroes, princesses, and other costumed visitors, so come ready for a night of TRUNK OR TREATING FUN! 🎃

It is with sadness that we share the passing of Russ, who dedicated over 20 years to caring for and supporting children and families at Almost Home Academy before our transition to Bright Beginnings Academy.

Although Russ was not an employee of Bright Beginnings Academy, he was an important part of the center’s history and made a lasting impact on so many children, families, and coworkers throughout his years in early childhood education. We know many of our current families knew him, and we wanted to share this news with our community.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Russ’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. We invite you to keep his loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.

We have attached his obituary below for those who would like to learn more or pay their respects. ❤️

Russell Russ B. Sauer, 58, of Kenosha passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, August 1, 2026. He was born on September 12, 1967 to the late Merle and Dianne Meyer Sauer in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford
