Our summer camp school age program started this week. The children played a little indoor baseball on a rainy day and also had a visit from Dogs of Endearment for some summer reading.

Yesterday we kicked off summer with some beach ball fun!

We’ve been having an Egg-citing week! We have 6 new baby chicks that hatched!

Today our 3-year-old classrooms made binoculars and went on a walk to look for signs of spring.

Last week we began incubating chick eggs with our 3-year-old classrooms. Today we candled them and discovered that all 8 eggs are fertilized and growing chicks inside of them. The children were overjoyed!

The Grasshopper Room went outside today and made nature art collages.

As we learn about Spring this month, the Cricket Room constructed a large nest in their classroom for their dramatic play area.

We finished our week of the young child by making celebration snack mixes and having a playground obstacle course activity.
