Students in the fall 2016 Software Engineering course at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside worked tirelessly to bring our community and stakeholders the brand new KUSD app and worked closely with the KUSD communications team to build the app from scratch. A huge THANK YOU goes out to each of the students and staff members involved in this semester-long project, and the UW-Parkside App Factory for their help in finalizing the details prior to launch. Frank Lloyd Wright Trail officially opens; honors Wisconsin-native, renowned architect
RACINE -- Gov. Scott Walker celebrated the official opening of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trail on Wednesday afternoon, May 10th at the SC Johnson headquarters in Racine. The trail features the work of Wisconsin-native and renowned architect, Frank Lloyd Wright -- celebrating his 150th birthday in 2017.

Computer Science Student Intern Kyle Zawacki represented the UW-Parkside App factory earlier today at the Wisconsin State Capitol. The UW Poster event highlighted different UW system schools and their undergraduate research. The UW-Parkside App Factory featured their recently launched Ready Badger emergency app on their poster.

The UW-Parkside App Factory was recently featured on TMJ4 for their creation of the Kenosha Area Transit App. This handy app allows users to track where the buses are and lets them know approximately when the bus will arrive at the nearest stop. The app was created by UW-Parkside computer science students. It's currently available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
