4 of my Amazing Students received their 100 Point Awards. It takes a minimum of 4 years to earn this award based upon points accumulated at District and Regional competitions where not only do the students perform repertoire from memory but also must take written examinations on music theory at progressively more difficult levels. They worked extremely hard. Well Done!

My piano student, did a very great thing. He received the highest honor one can receive at the State Festival. He was chosen as the best pianist to perform that day. Bravo and Congratulations, Ethan!

Once again my students did an amazing thing. Seven of them qualified for their 15 point trophies 🏆 which take a minimum of three years to earn. So, how do we commemorate this milestone? We go get ice cream 🍦! So proud of each and everyone. 👏🏻

My piano student, Ethan Vigil, did a very good thing today. For his high school graduation cap stone project he put on a concert featuring two vocal ensembles he sings lead in; played the guitar and sang original compositions; played a violin solo; performed Bach, Chopin and Beethoven on the piano; and finished up playing the piano and singing Sinatra. He plans to major in piano performance and sound engineering with a splash of music composition. I can’t wait to attend his Academy Award, Grammy, Tony or Emmy celebration!
