🎶 Leading up to a new school year at HMS, we’ll be reintroducing you to our amazing team!
Next up is Ms. Martha! Martha is a teacher of both piano and cello, and has private students of all ages, young children through adults.
She attended the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and served as principal of Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, Parkside Community Orchestra, and has played both piano and cello with the Racine Symphony Orchestra. A member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, Music Teachers National Association, and the local divisions of these National Groups, she enjoys preparing her students for performances and contests. Her students have attained high honors at both the local and State levels. She and her students have had fun being in parades and performing in various community outreach settings. Martha has performed in numerous recitals and wedding/party events and has done much accompanying both soloists and as church choir accompanist. She also enjoys various venues and has played in Praise Bands, Cowboy Bands, Bluegrass, and Irish Bands as well as dabbling in a variety of other instruments including banjo, ukulele, and baritone.
Outside of HMS Martha is a mother of four and a grandmother of two. Martha enjoys sewing, tent camping, and bike riding.
