What a way to close out the year at Paws & Applause 🐾👏

Tuesday we celebrated our final Bulldogs of the Month, recognized incredible academic and behavior achievements, honored students with citizenship awards, and gave special shoutouts to staff members who went above and beyond for our school community this year 💙

And of course… the staff vs. students game brought the energy — with the students taking the win this time 😂🏆

So proud of the growth, resilience, kindness, and community we built together this year. What a great way to end it. 💫

Meet Ryan Pecore, a dedicated 5th grade teacher at Brass Community School who leads with patience, compassion and care each day.

Ryan is a supportive colleague who is always willing to help, answer questions and ensure both students and staff feel supported. His calm, thoughtful approach helps students work through challenges while building strong relationships rooted in trust and respect.

Ryan’s commitment to supporting students academically, emotionally and socially is evident in everything he does, creating a positive environment where students can learn and grow.

Your passion, leadership, patience, and ability to build real relationships with students make such a difference every single day. You bring energy, care, humor, and consistency into spaces that truly matter, and it does not go unnoticed. So many students are better because of the work you do.

Teaching is not easy work. It takes heart, resilience, creativity, flexibility, and an unbelievable amount of emotional energy behind the scenes. The impact teachers have often reaches far beyond what can ever be measured.

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, thank you to all educators for the long hours, the encouragement, the advocacy, the problem-solving, the sacrifices, and the love you pour into students daily. Schools run on the dedication of people who continue showing up for kids no matter what. 💛
