🎼Congratulations to three RUSD students for taking first, second AND third place in the Racine Symphony Orchestra's Young Artists' Competition! 🎻
Lydia Weaver, a freshman at Walden III High School, captured first place with her performance of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major.
Gabriella Martinez placed second and Ellie Lutterman placed third; both are The Case Eagles students. All three winners received cash scholarships!
Ms. Weaver will perform an encore of the Violin Concerto alongside the Racine Symphony Orchestra at their Spring Masterworks Concert on Sunday, April 5 at University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Frances Bedford Concert Hall. Tickets are available on the Racine Symphony Orchestra’s website. Students under 21 will receive free admission.
