Kenosha Police Department's therapy dog Winnie is Gone Readin' and our first Featured Reader of the summer! Can I Be Your Dog is Winnieβs favorite book because itβs funny, goofy, and all about a dog looking for friends and snacks, two of her favorite things! Plus, reading stories about animals helps kids laugh, learn kindness, and maybe even remember to give the neighborhood therapy dog a belly rub.

π£ π JOB OPENING: 4K LEAD Teacher
We are looking for an experienced Lead teacher to fill a Full-time year-round position for our 4-year-old Pre-K classroom! Required qualifications include a Registry level 12 or higher, an Associate degree in ECE or a Bachelor's degree with related experience in an early childhood setting, and strong communication and organizational skills. We provide weekly paid time for lesson planning and a full-time Assistant teacher. Preferred schedule is 7:30am to 4:30pm, with some flexibility possible. If you have a passion for teaching and are looking for an opportunity to work in a high-quality, professional environment, with experienced management and ongoing support, we encourage you to apply!

Head to Kennedy Park June 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a sky-filled weekend of fun.
Enjoy high-flying performances by professional kite flyers, take part in the Kids Mad Dash at 2 p.m. each day for a chance to receive a free kite and learn how to launch your own.
Food and merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the festival.
