The very first day of school brought plenty of smiles, learning and new friendships in Miss Ziemba’s 4K class!

These two new friends jumped right in and worked together to build a cake, proving that some of the best learning happens when we collaborate, create and help one another. 🎂

We love seeing our youngest KTEC learners already building friendships and discovering what they can accomplish together!

It was wonderful to welcome students and families into the building, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and share in the excitement of a brand-new school year.

📚 We're thrilled to welcome Tymberlyn Mlodzik to KTEC Schools of Innovation as our new Middle School English Language Arts Teacher. With dual degrees in English and Secondary Education from Carthage College and a love of literature that has taken her as far as the Shakespearean Theater Festival in Stratford, Canada, Tymberlyn brings a genuine passion for storytelling to our students.

She believes every student has the capability to shine in their own way, and she is here to help them find it.

⭐ Some teachers find their way to the classroom from unexpected places, and we couldn't be happier that Mariano Tenuta's path led him to KTEC Schools of Innovation as our new Special Education Teacher. His journey was shaped by a career in the automotive industry and his own experience struggling as a student, and it brought him home to Kenosha with one clear mission: to make every day a fun, engaging environment where students feel inspired and motivated to do their best.

A proud Kenosha native, Mr. Tenuta is here to give back to the community that shaped him.

🔬 We're excited to welcome Nichole Hack to KTEC Schools of Innovation as our new Middle School Science Teacher. A KUSD Spark Award recipient and former advisor for National Junior Honor Society and Student Council at Ruth Harman Academy, Nichole brings proven leadership and a passion for making science as fun as it is meaningful.

Her goal is to open students' eyes to the world of science and inspire them to stay curious about how things work.
