5th Grade has been studying the Colonial Era and is closing out the year with a celebration - a Colonial tea party and dressing up and enjoying some tea treats.
The girls made homemade pinafore aprons and the boys made felt tricorn hats.

Our Upper Schoolers have been learning how to sew and create their own costumes for our Shakespeare play, Julius Caesar!

Last week, the 7th grade class took a field trip to learn about the process of making maple syrup and maple sugar. They had an amazing time learning about the whole process - from picking out the best Sugar Maple tree to tap, all the way to boiling the sap. At Imago Dei, the kids love learning about this beautiful world that God made for us to live in.

On Friday, we celebrated our annual Imago Dei Chili Feast. There was a lot of competition for best chili this year, and a new winner was given the Wooden Spoon Award! We followed our feasting with some joyful folk dancing.

The 5th Graders celebrate finishing their book, "Carry On, Mr. Bowditch". A themed treasure hunt followed by a snack of hard tack and a sailor grog (spiced apple cider) made this celebration extra fun!

This evening is one of the most highly anticipated traditions each school year. With each new year, we are able to reflect on God's kindness to our Imago Dei Classical School family. The choirs have gotten larger, the voices more mature and beautiful. To God be the glory!
