Thank you to everyone who came to perform and to applaud. We raised just shy of $400 and we are grateful to all of you. It was a lot of fun! Glory to God for all things! Christ is Risen!

Dust jacket (book cover) projects have been a big success for our middle 3rd-5th Literature Class. Now it’s on to Farmer Boy for 2nd-4th with Matushka and The Bronze Bow for 5th-7th with Mr. Stoyas. We love being able to adapt our classrooms and shift students to where they are best suited and challenged.

Animal visitors (and some cute siblings too) to help us learn about life cycles of mammals 🐰

We had such a great time and got to see and touch a great variety of reptiles and FISH. Thank you Matt and crew at Big River Pets for showing us around and answering ALL our questions. And thank you to the kind ladies at Desserts by Kelly who were so patient while we ad our choices.

Not to be outdone by their older classmates, 3/4 presented their own projects.

Biology was extra tasty today! But, “Where were the gummy bears Matushka?”.

Our Chess Team is enjoying extra practice and solving puzzles with Mr. Stoyas.

Friday saw lots of quizzes and lots of fun: reading, games, and origami with a special volunteer.

Our first full week of classes in 2023 is off to a great start!

Friday was a day for baking, learning, cooking, and of course ended with our annual Nativity program. The children did a wonderful job and helped to provide the refreshment and hospitality afterward. Thank you to everyone for coming and supporting our students.

Thank you to everyone who planned, donated, helped, came, bid on baskets, and helped clean up! Our first ever St. Nicholas Silent Auction was a huge success.

House competitions, snowmen creations, and lots of preparations for St. Nicholas and St. Lucia festivities!

Students and teachers alike were busy preparing baskets for our first ever St. Nicholas Night Silent Auction. We’ve been blown away by all the donations and energy around this inspired endeavor! Glory to God for all things! Here‘s a sneak peak (more to come):

KSD has cancelled all classes today. We imagine the kids are thrilled and will regale us with tales of daring tomorrow 🛷

St. Macrina’s follows the Kennewick School District for snow delays and cancelations due to weather. School will begin at 10:30am Monday, December 5th.

Blessed to learn about St. Martin of Tours, experience some “giraffe saliva“, and feel mushrooms harvested by a student over the weekend. It was a blustery day outside, but we felt safe and cozy inside our little school. Glory to God for all things!
