It’s that exciting time of year again—celebrating the academic success of our students through the Hispanic Academic Achievement Program (HAAP)!

Students interested in this opportunity must meet the following requirements:

Be currently enrolled in grades 4 through 12
Be of Hispanic ethnicity
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first trimester

BCSEPTA Award Ceremony Honoring Jake Boneck

We would like to give a huge congratulations to one of Southgate’s amazing teachers, Mr. Boneck, for being nominated for the BCSEPTA Award by one of our wonderful parents! Mr. Boneck, our Tier 3 Autism Teacher, was recognized for the incredible care, compassion, and dedication he shows his students every single day. His ability to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and important has made a lasting impact on so many students and families. From building meaningful connections with peers across the school to always greeting students with a huge smile, Mr. Boneck truly goes above and beyond. We are so proud to have him as part of the Southgate family!

Today is Administrative Professionals Appreciation Day, and we are so incredibly grateful for our secretaries for being the backbone of our school.
