From bowling and ice cream with one of our past officers to stepping on stage, it is safe to say Southridge FFA had an amazing time at the 96th Washington FFA State Convention & Expo! This year’s theme, Cultivating Legacies, reminded us to honor the past while creating memories and achievements that will shape our future. 🌱💙💛

Watching the fruits of our labor come to fruition this spring has been so rewarding. 🌱

It’s the first day of flower basket season! Baskets are going up today and getting their first water!

This year‘s flowers were grown by the Southridge High School FFA floral design class!

2026 Downtown Kennewick Flower Crawl Spend the afternoon visiting a variety of Locally Owned Businesses as you Build-A-Bouquet with the Downtown Kennewick Flower Crawl.

Hatch day is finally here! 🐥 Out of 48 eggs, 6 chicks have already made their debut and are loving life outside the shell. The incubator is still busy, and we’re excited to see the rest join the flock soon!

Nothing better than watching new life start right in our ag program. 🌾

Yesterday at Salmon Summit, our officer team had the opportunity to run ag learning stations for kids and share what agriculture really means to us 💙🌾 From flowers to soil types, poultry to dairy, and ag mechanics in between, each station was hands-on, fun, and full of learning.

Congratulations to Ady Ahl for making Southridge FFA History by receiving 3rd place at the District 4 Leagership Development Event in Extemporaneous Speaking - wonder what that is? Well, 30 minutes before speaking time the contestant picks an agriculture industry related topic, researches it for 30 minutes, then give a 4-6 minute speech on the topic & finally answers questions from the judges!

So excited to have our first person to ever represent Southridge FFA in extemporaneous speaking at the WAFFA State Convention this year! Congratulations Ady & good luck! 🎉

our ag classes have been hard at work in the greenhouse - received 1890 plants and transplanted them all in a day 🥵 then planted 1800 seeds with more to come! everything is looking so happy and healthy. you are going to want to check out our sale the first weekend of May!! 🌱
