Last week, TC Futures Migrant Re-Engagement staff members Mariana Gamino and Adreana Gonzalez attended the Migrant Education Program State Conference, where two TC Futures students were recognized for their outstanding achievements and hard work. 👏🎉

Anthony received the Power of Community Perseverance Scholarship and Miguel received the Power of Community Award. Miguel also took the stage as a student speaker during the TC Futures workshop, where he shared his inspiring journey and experience with TC Futures.

A special thank you to TC Futures Case Managers Auggie and Gabby for joining us in celebrating Anthony and Miguel's accomplishments. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and look forward to seeing their continued success!

Recently, some of our TC Futures staff had the opportunity to create wooden bowls with the help of the Mid-Columbia Woodturners in our woodshop. Their members generously shared their time, expertise and tools teaching us how to use a lathe and guiding us through the bowl-making process.

Thank you, Mid-Columbia Woodturners for this amazing opportunity to learn new skills and help us pass that knowledge on to future TC Futures woodshop students!👏✨️

ATTENTION - Due to air conditioning issues TC Futures is closing Suite 100 for the rest of the day today, Thursday, July 16, and all day tomorrow, Friday, July 17.

TC Futures will remain open both days at Suite 190.

What an amazing turnout at our Woodshop Open House last Friday! 🔨🎸

Students, staff and community members had the opportunity to tour our new woodshop, check out the impressive projects created by students in our Guitar/Woodshop STEM Building class and learn more about the newly offered course.

Recently, TC Futures students had the opportunity to learn from a variety of industry professionals at our Career Exploration Day! Students explored what it takes to enter different career fields, built strong resume skills, and practiced how to stand out in a group interview setting. We also hosted a mini career fair featuring local colleges and military representatives.

A huge thank you to our speakers and presenters for inspiring our students and helping them envision their future paths! 👏💼
