The end of the year is full of activity and WE LOVE IT!

We are so grateful to our amazing PTO! They spoiled our staff in wonderful ways this week with so much yummy food; sandwiches, Italian sodas, breakfast, movie popcorn and treats, finishing with pizza and salad. Hands down the best around PTO around! ❤️🙌🎉

Kindergarten registration is OPEN now! 📣

If your child turns 5 by August 31, 2026, now is the time to get them enrolled for the upcoming school year. Registration only takes a few minutes and helps your family start the year prepared.

Spring has sprung and our 5th graders have great examples of learning in our display case! We were also honored to host the Wanapum Nation Mobile Museum on Tuesday and our Intermediate grades were able to engage with their history firsthand!

What a Week at Cottonwood! Salmon dissection for our 4th graders learning about the salmon life cycle. The Civil War for our 2nd graders, including a battle field in room 21. An “egg”cellent egg drop for our 5th graders, with an audience of students and staff. We ended our week with PTO popcorn joy!

We hope all our families have a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled spring break. You’ve earned it!

At Cottonwood we believe the best kind of learning happens when a little bit of wonder is involved. Our kindergarten scientists used magic green dust to transform ordinary applesauce into a festive green treat. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to swim with salmon? Just take a stroll through our 4th grade hallway.

Our 2nd graders are stepping back into history to study the civil war. Meanwhile our 3rd graders are taking a journey through the solar system. Whether looking back at history or up at the galaxy, our students are reaching new heights everyday at Cottonwood!

From The Boston Tea Party to The Science of Breakable Things and ending with a Pajama Party. We have amazing things happening at Cottonwood!

Our Math is Cool team, with coach Kareen Earley, did an amazing job on Friday! They earned 2nd place competing with 11 other teams from around the area. CONGRATULATIONS!!
