This week, the children enjoyed stories, music, movement, creative activities, and so much more—all while having the opportunity to choose from several fun craft options!

From dragons and dinosaurs to ice cream, fish, and butterflies, each child used age-appropriate materials to explore their creativity, use their imaginations, and have fun creating. 🐉🦖🍦🐠

I provide a variety of age-appropriate materials, and the children are encouraged to use their imaginations —and that’s what makes it so much fun!

Even some of the older children joined in and enjoyed the stories, activities, and crafts. And honestly, seeing the children light up when I walk through the door is one of the best parts of what I do. ❤️

🌟 More Than Just a Story – Day 3

📚 Every Child Learns Differently

One of the things I love most about working with young children is that no two children learn in exactly the same way.

Some children love to listen to the story. Others light up when it's time to sing, move, ask questions, or create. Every child has their own unique way of learning, exploring, and expressing themselves.

That's why each enrichment session is thoughtfully designed to give children different opportunities to engage, explore, and learn. My hope is that every child finds a moment that sparks their curiosity, builds their confidence, and helps them grow.

One of my favorite moments is watching each child connect with the experience in their own unique way. Whether it's a smile, a thoughtful question, quiet observation, or the excitement of sharing something they've created, those little moments remind me that every child is learning and growing.

💙 Because with Miss Erika... it's always more than just a story.
