Our Summer Art Intensive high schoolers wrapped up last week with an Open House to show off their work to family and friends. We had so many talented students this year and it was a fun week for everyone!

May 1st is the deadline for high school students to sign up for our Summer Art Intensives and for upcoming college students to apply for the School of Art and Design!

🖌️ Through the Summer Art Intensives, high school students and rising college freshmen get a one week summer camp style experience in what it is like to be a college art student. This year's classes are 3D Digital Modeling and Character Development, Basic Patternmaking & Construction in Textile Design, Creature Design and Scientific Illustration and our NEW Multimedia Stop-Motion Workshop.

🎨 Looking to become a School of Art and Design student this fall? We offer two degree programs for which you must submit a portfolio for entrance: the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Animation. The Entrance Portfolio requires 4 artworks and a 200-word artist statement.

🏛 Spring Art History Capstone Symposium is April 27th at 12:30 p.m. in Wilson Building room 103.
🎨 Studio Capstone III, Textiles and Surface Design, is currently on view through May 2nd in the ZMA's Fine Arts Gallery.
🗯️ Frames and After: Illustration and Comic Student Exhibition will be on display at Smith Gilbert Gardens on May 2 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
