Associate Professor of Creative Writing and bestselling author Garrard Conley joins the KSU Writing Center to highlight the importance of banned books and the freedom to read. His memoir, Boy Erased, which recounts his experience with conversion therapy, has been challenged and banned in various communities around the world.
This week, a copy of Boy Erased is included in our Blind Date with a Banned Book giveaway. Stop by, pick up a mystery title, and engage with stories that inspire conversation, understanding, and critical thinking.
