Spring 2027 schedules are coming! 📅

Spring schedules will be available in StudentVUE beginning October 16, and the Spring Drop/Add window will be open October 16–23.

⚠️ Important: This is the only drop/add period before spring semester begins in January, so be sure to submit any requested changes during this window.

Students may submit one form but can include multiple course requests on that submission. This also includes requests for online/DE courses and Minimum Day/Morning.

FACES OF HARRISON | KIM GREAVES

Some Hoya Stories begin long before the first day of school. Kim Greaves' story began before Harrison even opened its doors!

When Harrison was still under construction, Kim remembers bringing her children to ride their Power Wheels in the parking lot while the community eagerly awaited its new high school.

Fast forward to today, and Kim has spent 23 years at Harrison, serving as one of our attendance clerks and watching generations of Hoyas come through those same doors.

But there's more to Kim than her years at Harrison! From life on her family's small farm to owning TCBY stores and attending an actual Yogurt University (yes, that's a real thing), Kim has plenty of stories to share.

For Kim, Harrison isn't just where she works. It's a place filled with memories, friendships, and a connection that began before the building was even finished.

HOYA LEARNING | Celebrating Culture Through Education

Our Honors Spanish V students took learning beyond the classroom in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!

Students transformed the Learning Commons into a showcase of Hispanic cultures, sharing presentations highlighting the traditions, history, geography, and unique characteristics of Spanish-speaking countries.

Through research, creativity, and conversation, our Hoyas became the teachers, sharing what they learned with fellow students, teachers, and visitors throughout the day.

This is what Hoya Learning is all about—connecting classroom knowledge to the world around us and giving students opportunities to share their learning with others!

MEET THE TEAM | SOCIAL STUDIES

History. Government. Economics. Psychology. Geography.

But for Harrison’s Social Studies Department, it’s about more than the content they teach. It’s about helping students make connections—between the past and the present, the classroom and the real world, and the lessons they learn today and the people they’ll become tomorrow.

With 343 combined years in education and 188 years at Harrison, this team brings a whole lot of experience to our classrooms. But spend a little time getting to know them, and you’ll quickly discover there’s much more to this group than what you see during the school day.

Some of the most important work at Harrison happens quietly. 💚💙

Before our students arrive, throughout the school day, and long after many of us have gone home, our custodial team is working behind the scenes to take care of the place more than 2,000 Hoyas call home each day.

They clean our classrooms, hallways and cafeterias. They tackle the messes no one else sees. They reset spaces so we're ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Most of the time, their work is noticed only when it isn't done.

Today, we're making sure it gets noticed.

On Custodial Appreciation Day, we are incredibly grateful for the people who work every day to take care of Harrison and all of us who call it home.

Thank you for everything you do for our Hoyas.
