Homecoming Dance INFO!

A few important reminders:

🎟️ Guest Tickets: Must be purchased by 11:59 PM on August 26
📝 Guest Forms: Non-Harrison guests must have an approved guest form on file
💚 Harrison Student Tickets: Available until 9:00 PM the night of the dance
🚫 No cash will be accepted at the door
⚠️ ALL ticket sales are final and nonrefundable
🚗 Pick-Up: All students must be picked up promptly at 10:00 PM when the dance ends, or earlier if they
leave before the end of the dance.

IMPORTANT: Purchasing a guest ticket does not replace the guest-form requirement. If a Harrison student purchases a ticket for a non-Harrison guest who does not have an approved guest form on file, that ticket will not be refunded. Forms were due last Friday.

Don’t wait until it’s too late—take care of your HOCO tickets now! 🪩✨

Some of the best lessons happen between the equations.

For Amy Shaffer, teaching math is about more than numbers—it’s about the laughter, conversations, and connections that make a classroom feel like a community.

For 10 of her 12 years in education, Amy has called Harrison home, bringing a smile, a quick hello, and plenty of laughter to the students and people around her each day.

And when she’s not in the classroom? You might find her exploring a National Park, hiking with her dog…or apparently Boot Scootin’ Boogie-ing her way through life.

We’re glad Amy’s Hoya Story is part of ours. 💚💙

There’s a lot happening around Harrison this week—from decade dress-up days and packed athletic schedules to Friday Night Lights, the crowning of our Homecoming Court, and Saturday night’s Homecoming Dance!

Same roads. Different sidelines. And tonight, we meet again. 🏈

For the first time since 2021, Harrison and Allatoona are back under the Friday night lights together — two schools connected by familiar faces, shared classrooms, teams, friendships, and communities.

Tonight, those connections meet on one field.

The players are ready. The bands will bring the sound. The cheerleaders will bring the spirit. And we need the Hoya faithful filling the stands and bringing the energy. 💚💙

This is more than a game. It's the full Friday night experience — and one we haven't shared with Allatoona in a long time.

Planning to bring a guest from another school to the Homecoming Dance? Don't wait!

Guest forms must be:
📝 Completed
🏫 Signed by your guest's school administration
📥 Returned to Harrison by the end of the school day Friday, August 21 (attendance office)

⚠️ Forms received after Friday's deadline cannot be accepted. No exceptions.
