MPCS is thrilled to share that construction on the new lower school playground will begin this week! Despite a few zoning delays, the time has come where you will begin to see equipment moving dirt to prepare for turf surfacing. The expanded space will include accessible activity zones, open play areas, and a walking path. Swingsets and new styles of equipment will foster childrens' development of coordination, balance, motor skills, and sensory areas. We are so excited to open this new larger community space for our later this fall!

Madame Allen hosted the ceremony for the induction of 14 of our newest National French Honor Society inductees. The candle-lighting ceremony acknowledged the values of scholarship, character, curiosity, service, and community. Each of these students has distinguished themselves through excellence, discipline, and an appreciation for French language and culture. Four of the inductees will be traveling with Madame Allen and other MPCS students to France this summer. This NFHS group is enthusiastic about learning within the classroom, but also have a desire to experience the French language and culture firsthand.

We are thrilled to launch our football home-opener with the Blue & Black Bash pre-game tailgate. Mark your calendars and join us for these great home events which run at 5:45-7:00 p.m. MPC football kick-off is at 7:30 p.m. each game night.

Save the date for the first Jr. Eagles Spirit Night this Friday, August 28 for grades Kindergarten-2 with a beach-theme tailgate including water jumps. No swimsuits allowed and please be sure to bring a dry change of clothes for your kids.
