Name Change Alert! We are now the Department of Information Systems and Security. The Department name now better reflects the two undergraduate degrees we offer: Information Systems and Information Security and Assurance

The Metro Atlanta Chapter of ISSA (Information Systems Security Association), in conjunction with the National ISSA, is offering scholarships to help fund students pursuing a degree in information security or cybersecurity programs. Students classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior, or enrolled in a graduate program for Fall 2020 are eligible.

The scholarships are based on academic excellence, work experience, community service, and extracurricular activities.

The deadline for applications is June 15, 2020.

The IS Department is looking for some student assistants. One of them is to be a lab assistant for a class on blockchain technology. Another needs a database tutor.

Additional qualifications for my the lab assistant:

Quick learner with programming background with a capacity to quickly learn Hyperledger-Fabric and describe.

Business analysis skills with ability to create and analyze business use cases.

Self-learner that can download and install software a repository like GitHub
