THE POSITION
Bus drivers are around kids all or most of the day, and provide the majority of their transportation. Responsibilities may include:
•Pick up and drop off at home or residential bus stop
•Pick up and drop off at school or daycare
•Transport children to field trip destination
•Ensure all bus passengers are safely seated and strapped in
•Observe speed limits and obey road signs
•Help children get on and off the bus safely
•Perform simple vehicle maintenance, such as filling gas tank, cleaning exterior and interior, taking vehicle for oil changes or state inspections, etc.)
•Prepare trip reports consisting of mileage and gas receipts
•Stop at ALL railroad crossing
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
Work hours: 6:30 am- 3:30 pm
THE POSITION
•Able to prepare nutritious meals appropriate for preschool children
•Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and production sheets
•Makes any necessary menu changes or substitutions, reports and records such changes as directed
•Prepare and serve meals that are timely, palatable and appetizing in appearance
•Assure that kitchen and food storage areas are clean and properly arranged at all times
•Handle food in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
•Work cooperatively with Center Director and other staff members
•Assist with children when needed

Required Skills •High school diploma or GED
•1 year of food planning and preparation
•Hands-on teaching, caregiving, or leadership experience preferred
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Outstanding organizational abilities
•High level of flexibility and willingness to work all shifts
•Must be at least 18 years old
