The Sturgis Library ground floor is re-opening this Thursday, July 23! The first floor doors we’ve been using this summer will return to emergency exits, so make sure to use the main entrance in the front of the building.

The space is renovated, refreshed, and revitalized with new paint and carpet. Come by and enjoy the new improvements made with the help of our team (and Scrappy)!

The computer lab is not yet up and running, so stay tuned for updates and see library hours and more information on our website go.kennesaw.edu/library.

Summer got into some trouble!

Recently, our therapy corgi, Sweet Summertime, had an intestinal blockage and had to have surgery to remove it.

She gave us and her mother a terrible scare, but Summer is recovering splendidly and is determined to run and jump as much as she wants (despite being on a movement restriction!).

If you see her on campus, make sure you give her some extra pats for her ordeal! 🐶💛

New resource alert! We’re kicking off a series announcing new additions to our collection, and today we’re highlighting:

📚 Encyclopedias from Wiley Reference Works

These collections support research across multiple disciplines and are especially valuable for KSU students, faculty, and staff in the humanities.

Happy birthday, Summer!

Today, we’re celebrating our therapy corgi and mascot’s EIGHTH birthday and all of the cuddles, good vibes, and entertainment she brings us and the KSU community.

Spend some time at the library on either campus and you just might see this special girl herself! ✨🎉🐶
