Another incredible day of rehearsal with the 8th Grade Symphonic Band in preparation for their GMEA perforance next week. Composer Laura Estes visited us, along with Dr. Williams, and Dr. Ferrell, the Supervisor of Instrumental Music for Cobb County Schools. Mr. Ray from Harrison HS will be conducting the world premiere of “Lost Mountain” by Laura Estes. We are SO PROUD of our incredible students and can’t wait for you to hear them next Friday in Athens, GA! 🎵

🎉 Congratulations to our students who successfully auditioned and were selected for the GMEA District XII Middle School Honor Band!! This is the equivalent of making the super select All-Star Team for all of Cobb County School District!! 🎉
