Meet Paola Drekha! 🦉 She recently graduated from KSU with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and is now planning to travel and explore the world. Congrats, Paola. ALAS wishes you all the best in this exciting journey ahead! 💛🖤

Meet Juanjo Rodriguez! 🦉 He recently graduated from KSU with his Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and is already off to an amazing start working at Amazon Web Services and heading to grad school at Johns Hopkins. Congratulations, Juanjo! 💛🖤

Meet Carlos Soto! 🦉 He recently graduated from KSU with his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and will be heading into a Master’s program in Orthotics & Prosthetics. Congrats, Carlos. ALAS is excited to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish! 💛🖤

Meet Samantha Hadi! 🦉 She recently graduated from KSU with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering and is now starting her career as an SAP Consultant at IBM. Congrats, Samantha. ALAS is very proud of you! 🖤💛

Please welcome Milly Romo, our new Marketing Chair! 🎉

Milly is a proud first-generation Mexican-American with roots in Calvillo, Aguascalientes. 🇲🇽 She currently works as an instructional designer at an electric utility company and plans to pursue her master’s degree soon, becoming the first in her family to do so. 📚

Milly joined ALAS to continue learning from others and share her own experiences. Navigating college as a first-generation student can be overwhelming, but with the right resources, success is possible. Milly is passionate about giving back by supporting students who face similar challenges, helping them feel seen and empowered.

Through ALAS, she hopes to connect with alumni and undergraduates, provide mentorship, and build a community where everyone can grow and thrive together. 🤝✨
