Are you interested in joining the SNA Board? SNA Board nominations will open on Monday, August 31 and close Saturday, September 5. Elections will be held the following Monday, September 7, and close on Saturday, September 12. Winners will be announced Sunday, September 13. 

You will have one week for nominations and one week for elections. Please be sure to read the reminders slide and ensure you are a part of KSU SNA on Owl Life before running for any position.

✨We’re excited to welcome our new Fall 2026 cohort to NSO! To get you started, we have prepared a brief guide to answer some questions and give you an idea of what to expect at NSO. Throughout the experience, you’ll have the opportunity to tour the nursing building, attend informational briefings, review required documentation, and participate in much more! ✨

NSO is also a great opportunity to meet and socialize with your peers, many of whom you may share a class with this semester. Take this time to ask questions, make connections, and most importantly, have fun! ✨

🍓☀️Happy Feature Friday SNA!☀️🍓

Our seniors were picking up the pace this summer with two full classes and some fun clinical placements! With everything from camp to study abroad to urgent care… this semester was jam-packed with some fun new experiences all around.

After 10 hours in the practice lab our owls felt more than prepared for their senior competency check offs! 🩺🫀🏩

Our accelerated cohort spent this summer picking their brains in their Pediatrics and OB clinical and we couldn’t be more proud. 🍼🩷

This feature Friday we are soaking up the sun while we can and celebrating an end to an amazing spring semester! Finals are over and clinicals have ended but summer semester is already here bringing hours spent practicing in the skills lab for complex check offs. We love seeing you keeping up the great work!🩷

    ⁃    Each submission is worth 1 SNA point (even if your picture is not featured on a post!)
    ⁃    Each member is limited to 1 submission per week
    ⁃    Only submit nursing related content such as (externships, job fairs, clinical, study abroad, studying, etc.)

Happy Nurses Week! 🩺💉❤️
This week, we recognize the dedication, resilience, and compassion nurses demonstrate to their patients and community on a day-to-day basis! Nurses are often the first to comfort, advocate for, and care for patients on the best, the difficult, and the everyday basis. For most nursing students, nurse week serves as both a celebration and an inspiration as we prepare to enter a profession deeply rooted in compassion and patient-centered care. 
This week inspires us to honor those in the profession who strive to make a lasting difference in patients’ lives.🤍🌼
