Taking it back to 1975 when the Carmichael Student Center officially opened its doors! It was the first building added to the Kennesaw Campus beyond the original nine buildings. In 1999, it more than doubled in size with the addition of the north end of the building.
Now it's getting another major refresh, and we can't wait to see what the Student Center looks like next. 🤩

The Jubilee Art Exhibition returns in honor of Juneteenth 🖼️ Visit the Zuckerman Museum on campus to experience this traveling exhibit exploring the history and significance of Juneteenth through powerful artwork and artist reflections. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres while celebrating the creativity and artistry of your fellow Owls.

Big things are coming to the Carmichael Student Center! ✨
Check out the future Carmichael Student Center, designed to create better, more functional spaces for students to connect, collaborate, and recharge. Renovations will include:
•More functional student spaces
•Additional meeting areas
•A larger game room
•New places to study, relax, and connect
AND MORE!
🚧 The Carmichael Student Center is closed through Fall 2027 for renovations.
📍Student Affairs offices have temporarily relocated to Willingham Hall, Room 230, including the Quiet Reflection Room.
🍴 Dining Services (with the exception of the Student Center Starbucks) will remain OPEN during construction.
🛒 The Kennesaw CARE Pantry location is temporarily closed, but the Marietta location remains open and operational. For students who are facing genuine barriers to accessing the Marietta pantry, please email [email protected], and CARE will coordinate a time on a case-by-case basis to provide food pantry items.
