Each year, the Kennedale Education Foundation proudly hosts the Night of Bright Stars, an unforgettable celebration of the impact educators have on their students. 🌟

Students in the top 10% of the senior class each select one educator who has made a lasting difference in their lives and honor them at this special ceremony in May. The rest of the photos are posted to the KISD Facebook!

Today, we had the joy of walking the halls at KHS, surprising those incredible teachers as students personally invited them to the Night of Bright Stars.

We can’t wait to celebrate these outstanding students and the educators who helped shape their journey. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first annual Hometown Jingle Jog this past Saturday! It was a perfect day for a 5K, and we loved seeing our community show up with so much energy and holiday spirit.

A big congratulations to all of our runners, and an extra shoutout to Coach Cameron Massengill from KHS for taking first place overall!

Thank you to COX Racing and the City of Kennedale for their support, and to KHS NHS for volunteering and helping make the event a success!

A brand-new holiday tradition is coming to Kennedale… the first-ever Hometown Jingle Jog 5K!

Join us Saturday, November 29, 2025, at TownCenter Park for a morning full of running, walking, holiday cheer, and community spirit. Proceeds benefit the Kennedale Education Foundation to help enrich opportunities for KISD students. Race registration and packet pick up will open up at 6:30 AM and the race will start at 8 AM!

What to expect:
✨ Finisher medals for all participants
✨ Awards for top finishers in each age group
✨ Holiday fun for runners and walkers of all ages

Registration:
🎄 Early Bird (by Sept. 30) – $30
🎄 Regular (by Oct. 31) – $35
🎄 Late or Race-Day – $40

Race shirts guaranteed if you register by Nov. 20!

🎲✨ Our second annual "A Night in Vegas" fundraiser was a huge success! ✨🎲

KEF extends its deepest gratitude to the sponsors, volunteers, attendees, and everyone else who made this event possible. Your support and enthusiasm were crucial to the success of "A Night in Vegas."

The event, hosted at the Arbor Event Center in Arlington and catered by Bolles Appétit (owned by KISD’s very own John and Melinda Bolles), brought together casino-style fun, a lively silent auction, and exciting prizes for the top ten players.

Most importantly, the funds raised will directly support teacher grants, providing vital resources that enhance classroom experiences for students.

💡 We’re also excited to share that the grant application period opens Monday, September 22, with proposals due by October 17. We can’t wait to see the innovative ideas from our teachers that will inspire and enrich student learning!

🎄🏃‍♂️ And the fun doesn’t stop there! Our first-ever Hometown Jingle Jog 5K is coming soon! The race will coincide with the City of Kennedale - City Hall's Hometown Christmas event. Stay tuned for more details!
